In 2008 the Museum unveiled the design for its future 31,500-square-foot home created by Brad Cloepfil of Allied Works Architecture.
The building will provide intimate spaces for the study and enjoyment of the museums extraordinary collection of 2,400 works spanning Clyfford Still's career. It is one of the most comprehensive single-artist holdings in the world.
The museum will also house the artists archives of letters, sketchbooks, manuscripts, photo albums and personal effects which, like the art, have been removed from public view for over twenty-five years.
